SECTION 19 – Card Conditioning Guide

Near Mint (NM)

Near Mint cards show little to no signs of wear and have been handled with great care. These cards may have very minor imperfections, such as slight edge wear or a small surface scratch, but overall appear nearly unplayed. Corners, edges, and surfaces should remain clean and well-preserved, with no major defects.

Lightly Played (LP)

Lightly Played cards may display minor signs of use, including small scratches, edge wear, or light surface scuffing. While imperfections may be noticeable upon closer inspection, the card remains in excellent overall condition with no significant damage or structural issues.

Moderately Played (MP)

Moderately Played cards show more noticeable wear from regular handling or gameplay. This may include edge wear, surface scratches, scuffing, minor creases, or light bends. Despite these imperfections, the card remains structurally intact and fully identifiable.

Heavily Played (HP)

Heavily Played cards exhibit substantial wear and visible imperfections. Common issues may include significant whitening, creasing, scratches, edge wear, scuffing, or multiple signs of use. While heavily worn, the card must remain authentic, recognizable, and free from severe structural damage.

Damaged (DMG)

Damaged cards have defects that go beyond normal play wear and significantly affect the card's condition. This may include tears, heavy creasing, bends, water damage, stains, splitting, writing, or other structural issues. Damaged cards remain collectible but are considered to be in the lowest condition category.
